The Director of the Department of Mind Body Medicine at Western Regional Medical Center will direct the provision of patient/family care and program functioning of the department, and will assume additional hospital-wide responsibilities as assigned.  Orients and evaluates oncology patients in the intake process. Provides individual, couples, and family counseling for oncology patients and their loved ones. Facilitates Mind Body Medicine groups and classes. Participates in interdisciplinary rounds, meetings, and consultations. Assumes additional departmental and hospital responsibilities as assigned.

  • Doctorate degree in Psychology required
  • Master's degree in social work required
  • Licensed Professional Counselor required
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in related field required

Decides on the method of analysis and resources to utilize in researching new policies/practices.    Research and analyze appropriate classes and services to offer patients for program development
